Cooper's Food Market has been
operating as a family run store at it's current
Belfast location
since
1960. After operating a convenience store next to
their home in Bellevue for many years, Max and Marion
Cooper bought the store in Eldon and opened as a
"Lucky Dollar" store. Later, to meet the
community's need for a full-line grocery store, the Lucky
Dollar store became Cooper's Red & White Food Store. When first
opened the store in Eldon sold White Rose petroleum
products. Sometime later, the this was changed to the
now familiar Shell brand of oil and gasoline.
Cooper's Food Market celebrates 50 years of service in
Belfast and is proud to remain family run
by a second and third generation of the Cooper family.
David and Glenda Cooper, their daughter Debbie and son
Bobby, along with the rest of the Cooper's staff invite
you to visit their store and join them in celebrating
their 50th anniversary!

Cooper's Staff (L-R): David Cooper, Bobby Cooper, Glenda
Cooper, Debbie Cooper Beck, Kim MacLeod, Kyla Thomson,
Paula MacKenzie, Alesha Kennedy, Clara Vincent and Jimmy
Campbell.
